Sharing STEM with our local and global communities

The most satisfying part of Robotics is NOT winning competitions, but rather giving back to our communities and helping others discover their passion for STEM.

We have done this in many ways including workshops, webinars, volunteer events, and more.

Intro to Graphic Design Workshop

Led by our Business Team, we introduced the scientific foundation of design including its principles and color theory, integrating it with AI technology, and how we use it in robotics engineering.

We also gave our audience an introduction to the field of design in careers, business, and tech including recent trends (ex: gradients) and more!

Spreading STEM to the Community: Workshops

Our goal is to make STEM and Robotics more accessible to the Community. We do this by going to local middle schools and holding workshops. We collaborated with Team 21982 and hosted an FTC Demo Workshops at Fulton Middle School, where we taught CAD, engineering, and programming. We have also taught Coding workshops at Masuda Middle School. Not to mention teaching a Coding class to our own High School!

Mentoring Middle School Teams:

We are currently mentoring three aspiring FTC middle school teams, where we go to their school and help answer their questions, along with teaching them how to build, program, and CAD robots!

Biomedical Engineering Webinar

Alongside Fountain Valley High School's Medical Society Club, we held a Biomedical Engineering webinar with guest speaker Emily Lin. She talked about the connection between her career choice and the opportunities that she had gained from her former robotics team, FRC Team 1678.

Promoting Menstrual Health:

We have teamed up with FRC 3476 to donate menstrual products for FIRST events, in order to remove the barriers to menstrual health and promote stress-free events for everyone.
